What you'll do

  • Develop Python and Bash scripts to automate recurring infrastructure and application activities.
  • Create and maintain Ansible playbooks for infrastructure and application administration.
  • Manage automation code, configurations, and version history using GitLab.
  • Identify and automate manual processes to standardize and simplify operations.
  • Develop automated system health checks and validation processes.
  • Support IBM NetCool event management including ingestion, filtering, correlation, and troubleshooting.
  • Integrate infrastructure platforms using APIs, SNMP, syslog, and other approved interfaces.
  • Maintain architecture documentation, operating procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

What we're looking for

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Must possess an active DoD Secret clearance or higher at time of hire.
  • Must have a current CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification meeting DoD requirements.
  • Must have a current certification in automation, Linux, networking, DevOps, or enterprise infrastructure.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in systems administration, infrastructure engineering, automation, DevOps, or systems integration.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Linux, scripting, automation, or systems integration in production enterprise IT environments.
  • Hands-on experience with at least two of the following: Python, Bash/Shell, Ansible, Git/GitLab, Linux admin, REST APIs, configuration management, enterprise monitoring, or network management.
  • IBM NetCool or another event management platform (preferred).
