What you'll do

  • Develop Python and Bash scripts to automate recurring infrastructure and application activities.
  • Create and maintain Ansible playbooks for infrastructure and application administration.
  • Manage automation code, configurations, and version history using GitLab or other source control tools.
  • Identify and automate manual processes to improve operational efficiency.
  • Build automated system health checks and validation procedures.
  • Manage the IBM NetCool environment including event ingestion, filtering, and troubleshooting.
  • Integrate infrastructure platforms using APIs, scripts, SNMP, and syslog.
  • Maintain technical documentation for architectures, interfaces, and operating procedures.

What we're looking for

  • Must be a United States citizen.
  • Must possess an active DoD Secret clearance or higher at the time of hire.
  • Must possess a current CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification meeting DoD requirements.
  • Must have 5+ years of experience in systems administration, infrastructure engineering, automation, DevOps, or related fields.
  • Must have at least 2 years of hands-on experience with Linux, scripting, automation, or systems integration.
  • Must have hands-on experience with at least two of the following: Python, Bash/Shell, Ansible, Git/GitLab, Linux administration, REST APIs, or configuration management.
  • Preferred experience includes IBM NetCool, VMware, and working in classified or air-gapped environments.
  • US Citizenship.
