The Associate Director, Agentic AI PoC Lead reports to the Executive Director, AI Architecture & Lab Lead. In this role, you will lead the rapid design, development, and technical validation of proof-of-concepts to demonstrate the value of agentic AI across the enterprise. You will partner with business, product, architecture, and engineering teams to transform emerging capabilities into validated solutions for the Agentic Factory. Daily responsibilities include designing prototype solutions, establishing repeatable methodologies, and mentoring AI engineers. You will utilize LLMs, multi-agent frameworks, RAG, vector databases, Python, APIs, and cloud platforms. The work involves assessing emerging technologies to build an enterprise AI roadmap, specifically addressing the challenge of transitioning innovative AI experimentation into production-ready roadmaps within highly regulated industries like pharmaceutical or healthcare.

What you'll do

  • Lead the delivery of high-impact agentic AI proof-of-concepts from initial ideation through technical validation.
  • Identify business opportunities where autonomous AI agents can create measurable value for the enterprise.
  • Design and implement prototype solutions using LLMs, multi-agent frameworks, RAG, and orchestration platforms.
  • Transition successful proof-of-concepts into production roadmaps in coordination with architecture and engineering teams.
  • Establish repeatable methodologies, evaluation criteria, and technical documentation for AI experimentation.
  • Assess emerging AI technologies and recommend new capabilities for the enterprise AI roadmap.
  • Mentor AI engineers to foster a culture of rapid learning and innovation.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience building AI, machine learning, or software engineering solutions, including hands-on development of generative AI applications.
  • Experience with LLMs, agent frameworks, RAG, vector databases, Python, APIs, cloud platforms, and AI orchestration technologies.
  • Strong prototyping and software engineering skills with the ability to rapidly build and validate new concepts.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to translate technical innovation into business value.
  • Experience developing enterprise AI platforms or agentic AI solutions in large organizations (preferred).
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries (preferred).
  • Skills in AI, Machine Learning, Python, Data Science, and Statistical Analysis (preferred).
