What you'll do

Conduct research and development on GenAI and agentic AI solutions to enhance developer productivity and operational resilience.
Design, prototype, and evaluate AI-driven tools and frameworks to streamline engineering workflows and improve code quality.
Establish best practices, reusable components, and common capabilities for integrating AI into technology platforms securely and at scale.
Provide technical guidance to agile engineering teams to identify and implement opportunities for AI adoption.
Develop policies, guardrails, and controls to ensure the responsible and compliant use of AI technologies within a regulated environment.
Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to inform the firm's strategic direction in AI innovation.
Communicate research findings and technical insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through documentation and presentations.

What we're looking for

Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of experience in software engineering, applied AI/ML research, or technology R&D.
Proficiency in Python and familiarity with modern development tools and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Hands-on experience with containers, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code.
Hands-on experience with GenAI, agentic AI, prompt engineering, function/tool calling, and integrating AI into workflows.
Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, developer productivity tooling, observability, and incident response in regulated environments.
Strong background in secure software development, data privacy, access controls, and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication skills to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences and drive cross-functional collaboration.
