Analytics Engineer 5 - Content & Studio joins the Conversation Data and Insights team to support Marketing business partners in complex decision-making processes. As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you will lead the design and implementation of robust data architectures and analytical toolings. You will partner with Consumer Product stakeholders, Data Engineers, Researchers, and Data Scientists to transform raw data into high-quality, performant data models and insights. Key responsibilities include building scalable data models, creating high-impact dashboards, and developing custom data tools like Plotly Dash. You must demonstrate expertise in SQL and Python for data manipulation and automation while utilizing engineering best practices like CI/CD, testing, version control, and monitoring. This role solves the technical challenge of translating ambiguous business requirements into concrete data products for the Consumer Product area.

What you'll do

Design, build, and maintain scalable data models to serve as the source of truth for the Consumer Product team.
Translate complex business requirements from stakeholders into technical data solutions and high-quality data models.
Transform complex quantitative analysis into high-impact dashboards and custom data tools using Plotly Dash.
Develop scalable data solutions using advanced SQL and Python while implementing CI/CD, testing, and version control.
Provide data-driven perspectives to challenge assumptions and identify growth opportunities for Netflix Consumer Products.
Manage long-term infrastructure projects while fulfilling ad hoc data requests from various business partners.
Partner with Data Engineers and Data Scientists to transform raw data into performant insights for marketing decisions.

What we're looking for

You must have 5+ years of experience with an advanced degree in a quantitative field like Engineering, Mathematics, or CS.
You must have 8+ years of relevant professional experience if you do not have an advanced degree.
You must be an expert in SQL.
You must possess deep experience with Python for data manipulation and automation.
You must be able to design, build, and maintain scalable data models and robust data architectures.
You must be able to transform complex quantitative analysis into high-impact dashboards and custom data tools.
You must be able to translate ambiguous business requests into concrete data products and technical solutions.
You must be able to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
