TL;DR · Analog IC Design Engineer

As an Analog IC Design Engineer, you will join a dynamic team focused on the design and development of analog portions of integrated circuits. Your daily responsibilities include performing behavioral modeling to validate architectures, conducting transistor-level feasibility studies for ADC and DAC blocks, and crafting designs for formal reviews. You will drive mask designs, perform top-level simulations for integration, and develop production test plans while taking lab measurements to validate designs. The role requires expertise in band-gaps, bias, op-amps, switched-cap circuits, LDOs, and low noise design techniques. You will utilize C, Matlab, and Verilog for modeling, alongside tools like spectrum analyzers and oscilloscopes. This position addresses complex challenges in high precision techniques, device mismatch, and ESD compliance to ensure robust analog performance within the final product architecture.

What you'll do

  • Define specifications for the analog portions of integrated circuits.
  • Create behavioral models to validate proposed architectures.
  • Conduct transistor-level feasibility studies for ADC and DAC blocks.
  • Develop circuit blocks and document designs for formal reviews.
  • Drive mask designs to implement layout views of designs.
  • Perform top-level simulations to validate integration.
  • Define production and bench-level test plans.
  • Take lab measurements and analyze yield results to drive bug fixes.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience (preferred).
  • Deep knowledge of ADC/DAC architectures and low noise, high precision design techniques (preferred).
  • Expertise in band-gaps, bias, op-amps, switched-cap circuits, LDOs, feedback, and compensation techniques (preferred).
  • Strong device physics knowledge as it applies to analog IC designs (preferred).
  • Experience in C, Matlab, or Verilog modeling (preferred).
  • Proven experience using spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and signal generators to validate designs (preferred).
  • Experience working with production test engineers on test plans and design for testability (preferred).
