Algorithm Engineer, Tracking Systems

What you'll do

• Design and implement advanced tracking algorithms for multi-target tracking, track fusion, and discrimination.
• Develop high-performance, real-time software to process radar sensor data for hundreds of simultaneous targets.
• Build and leverage modeling and simulation environments to validate tracking performance and quantify system capabilities.
• Optimize tracking software for performance-critical environments where millisecond latency is critical.
• Integrate tracking solutions into end-to-end defense systems with radar engineers and system architects.
• Communicate technical concepts and trade-offs to cross-functional teams, leadership, and customers.
• Participate in customer demonstrations and field tests to ensure successful operational deployment.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
• 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
• Solid foundation in linear algebra, probability, statistics, and/or differential equations.
• Understanding of software engineering fundamentals including design patterns, testing, version control, and debugging.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance.
• Experience with tracking, estimation, or filtering algorithms (preferred).
• Background in controls, estimation theory, or digital signal processing (preferred).
