What you'll do

Lead the end-to-end responsible AI lifecycle including risk assessment, policy definition, and mitigation strategy development.
Develop safety alignment strategies and architectural mitigations for large language and multimodal models.
Create tools, datasets, and evaluation methods to monitor and diagnose model failures during deployment.
Integrate human and automated feedback loops to improve feature safety and user trust post-launch.
Conduct research on fairness, robustness, uncertainty, and the societal impacts of generative AI.
Translate complex technical insights into actionable information for cross-functional partners and executive leadership.
Perform failure analysis and quality engineering to ensure the reliability of ML-driven systems at scale.

What we're looking for

At least 3 years of experience in machine learning, including work with generative models like Transformers, LLMs, or VLMs.
Proficiency in Python and data science libraries such as Pandas for analysis and ML workflows.
Experience designing and supporting human and automated evaluations for complex or multi-labeled data.
Hands-on experience collecting and analyzing language, vision, or multimodal datasets.
Background in failure analysis, quality engineering, or robustness testing for ML-driven systems.
Ability to translate technical insights for cross-functional partners, leadership, and executives.
A BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field is preferred.
Experience with model explainability, uncertainty estimation, or interpretability is preferred.
