AI Solutions Architect TS/SCI w/Full Scope Poly serves as a hands-on technologist and problem-solver within the IBM Consulting team. The role involves collaborating with team members to design, architect, and rapidly deliver complex AI/ML solutions for IC mission programs. The architect balances immediate mission needs with long-term sustainability while navigating technical trade-offs in high-stakes environments. Key responsibilities include developing end-to-end solutions using GenAI, LLMs, RPA, and traditional process improvement techniques. Required skills include expertise in modern integration patterns like Data Fabric and Data Mesh, as well as experience with Databricks and Snowflake. The role requires a software-agnostic mindset to address complex technical problems within the National Security and Defense sectors, specifically focusing on air-gapped delivery and secure AI requirements while applying User Centric Design principles to manage end-user cognitive load.
Design and deliver complex AI/ML solutions for intelligence community mission programs.
Balance immediate mission requirements with long-term sustainability and operational feasibility in solution designs.
Implement end-to-end AI solutions using GenAI, LLMs, RPA, and traditional process improvement techniques.
Apply User Centric Design principles to ensure technical architectures reduce user cognitive load.
Propose alternative technical approaches and tools based on specific mission requirements.
Communicate technical trade-offs clearly to both technical teams and mission stakeholders.
Develop scalable solutions that allow rapid prototypes to transition into production capabilities.
What we're looking for
US Citizenship is required.
Must possess an active Top Secret/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph clearance.
5+ years of experience designing and implementing data and AI/ML solutions.
Experience contributing to end-to-end AI solutions using GenAI, LLMs, RPA, and traditional process improvement techniques.
Strong knowledge of modern integration patterns including Data Fabric and Data Mesh across hybrid environments.
Demonstrated experience applying User Centric Design principles to technical architecture.
3+ years within the last 5 years supporting systems for the National Security or Defense sector (preferred); experience with Databricks and Snowflake (preferred).
