AI Product Owner

What you'll do

• Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI platforms and applications.
• Manage the development lifecycle by participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and reviews with the engineering team.
• Translate complex business requirements into functional technical specifications and clear user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Prioritize the product backlog based on business value, technical feasibility, and user needs.
• Evaluate and select appropriate AI technologies, tools, and frameworks to ensure scalable and reliable solutions.
• Analyze business processes to identify opportunities for improvement through automated or AI-enabled technology.
• Manage relationships with internal stakeholders to align project progress with corporate goals and resolve conflicts.
• Ensure compliance between business strategies and technical directions while overseeing testing and validation of requirements.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s Degree with 7 years’ experience, Master’s with 6 years, or PhD with 2 years’ in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in a technical environment or product management.
• Proven track record of managing the development and launch of successful software products.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI and traditional AI technologies to determine best fit for use cases.
• Strong technical background with the ability to understand and discuss complex technical concepts.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Experience working in the Life Sciences industry or with GXP validated systems (preferred).
• Technical writing experience, consulting background, and technical project management experience (preferred).
