The AI Product Engineer joins the Business Function team as a hybrid builder-strategist responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of AI-enabled solutions. This role involves translating ambiguous business problems into shipped products by leading discovery, managing backlogs, and defining product roadmaps. The engineer will prototype GenAI and Agentic AI solutions, perform prompt engineering, integrate LLMs via APIs, and partner with data engineers to design pipelines ensuring quality and security. Key technical requirements include proficiency in Python, SQL, and data manipulation, alongside experience in software engineering fundamentals like version control and API design. Preferred skills include MLOps/LLMOps tooling, Snowflake, Cortex, vector databases, and building multi-agent systems. The role focuses on automating or augmenting business workflows within the semiconductor industry by bridging the gap between technical execution and strategic business outcomes.
Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle for AI solutions including vision, roadmap, and backlog management.
Conduct user research and persona development to translate ambiguous business problems into technical requirements.
Act as the primary voice of the customer to define user stories and lead agile sprint planning.
Prototype GenAI and Agentic AI solutions using prompt engineering and structured outputs.
Integrate LLMs via APIs and tool calling to automate or augment internal business workflows.
Partner with data engineers to design pipelines and ensure data quality, security, and governance.
Direct UX/UI design and lead training, change management, and adoption strategies for new products.
What we're looking for
Master's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Data Science, Business Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in product management, business process analysis, data science, software development, or data engineering in the semiconductor industry.
Hands-on experience building and deploying LLM/GenAI applications with strong Python, SQL, and data manipulation skills.
Experience applying software engineering fundamentals including testing, version control, and API design.
Strong communication, backlog management, and systems-thinking skills to translate ambiguous business problems into products.
Prior experience as a Product Owner, Data Scientist, or Data Engineer (preferred).
Proven experience partnering with business function stakeholders like Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, or Business Unit teams (preferred).
Experience with MLOps/LLMOps tools, Snowflake/Cortex, vector databases, and building multi-agent systems (preferred).
