What you'll do

Design and build Custom AI Agents to support various workflows, including task automation and decision support.
Integrate systems using Model Context Protocol (MCP) for structured context sharing between models, tools, and agents.
Develop well-designed APIs for integrating applications with external and internal AI services like LLMs and embeddings.
Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate development processes such as code generation and test creation.
Conduct requirements gathering and analysis to translate business needs into scalable software solutions.
Ensure reliability, resiliency, and security of AI components in critical manufacturing systems.

What we're looking for

Proven experience building and operating production-grade backend or full-stack systems.
Strong foundation in full stack software engineering, including API design and data persistence.
Experience working in cloud-native environments with CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes-based platforms.
Solid understanding of AI-native skills like prompt engineering, vibe coding, and context management.
Track record of designing and implementing custom AI agents beyond simple chat interfaces.
Ability to integrate systems using MCP or equivalent structured agent/tool interfaces.
Reasoning about hallucination risk, failure modes, permissions in AI-enabled systems.
