As a Context Engineer on the Digital Employee Experience team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping an emerging discipline that integrates language models with enterprise operations to enhance employee productivity. Your daily tasks include partnering cross-functionally to structure enterprise knowledge for large language models (LLMs), building and maintaining context templates, designing and implementing robust context pipelines, and developing memory mechanisms to manage conversational state effectively. You will also optimize cost, latency, and reliability while contributing to the establishment of best practices in context engineering. The ideal candidate has 2-4 years of experience with LLMs or NLP in production environments, proficiency in Python and frameworks like LangChain, Hugging Face, PyTorch, or TensorFlow, and a solid understanding of tokenization and prompt formatting techniques.
Partner cross-functionally to identify and structure enterprise knowledge for LLMs.
Build and maintain context templates with few-shot examples and chain-of-thought scaffolding.
Design, implement, and iterate on context pipelines for reliable information delivery.
Develop memory mechanisms for managing conversational state across sessions.
Optimize cost, latency, and reliability of production workloads for LLMs.
Establish and document best practices for context engineering in the enterprise.
What we're looking for
2–4 years of professional experience with large language models or NLP in production.
Proficiency in Python and hands-on experience with LangChain, Hugging Face, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
Solid understanding of tokenization, prompt formatting, context window constraints, and RAG patterns.
Experience working with APIs, data structures, and JSON in real-world integrations.
Strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing and resolving ambiguous technical challenges independently.
Clear communication ability to align stakeholders and translate complex concepts for non-technical audiences.
