THE WORK:

Ripple Treasury (formerly GTreasury) is the leading innovator of integrated SaaS treasury and risk management solutions for the digital treasurer. Developed using the latest technology, Ripple Treasury helps empower organizations on their path to strategic treasury, by enabling total visibility into their cash, liquidity, payments and financial risk management.

As part of the Revenue Operations team, this role is a strategic partner to Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success — combining deep analytical expertise with hands-on RevOps experience to drive business improvements and revenue growth. This role goes beyond reporting: it identifies opportunities, influences decisions, and translates complex data into compelling narratives that move the business forward. Working closely with the Data Architect and Data Engineer, the role also helps shape data architecture, close data gaps, and strengthen governance practices across the GTM tech stack.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Partner with Business Partners and GTM leaders to understand priorities, surface insights, and recommend actions — acting as a strategic partner, not just a reporting resource
  • Translate business questions into clear, compelling narratives and visual insights that anticipate trends, opportunities, and risks
  • Present findings confidently to senior stakeholders, adapting the message to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Develop predictive models and forecasting frameworks to support strategic decision-making across GTM functions
  • Create scenario analysis and "what-if" modeling to support strategic planning initiatives
  • Identify patterns and anomalies in data that signal emerging opportunities or potential challenges
  • Build forward-looking dashboards and reports that enable teams to act proactively rather than reactively
  • Proactively identify inefficiencies in GTM processes and drive cross-functional improvements — defining the problem, quantifying the impact, and tracking outcomes
  • Enable Business Partners to utilize available tools and data through training, documentation, and ongoing supportIdentify data gaps and root causes impacting analytical accuracy and collaborate with Data Architect and Data Engineer to prioritize improvements
  • Contribute to data governance standards, definitions, and best practices across the GTM tech stack

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • 5+ years of experience in a RevOps, Sales Operations, or GTM analytics role within a SaaS or technology environment — candidates from pure BI or data engineering backgrounds without commercial operations exposure will not be considered
  • Proven stakeholder management skills, with experience building credibility with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success leaders
  • Demonstrated track record of driving business or process improvements using data — not just reporting on outcomes, but influencing them
  • Strong storytelling ability: structuring a narrative, building a business case, and presenting recommendations to senior audiences
  • Strong understanding of GTM metrics and KPIs across the full revenue funnel
  • Advanced proficiency in data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar)
  • Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation; Python a plus
  • Experience with predictive analytics, statistical modelling, or forecasting techniques
  • Experience working with Salesforce and marketing automation platforms (HubSpot preferred)
  • Familiarity with tools such as Gong, ZoomInfo, or Loopio a plus

  • 2+ years' experience building in crypto/blockchain, with understanding of stablecoin use cases, wallets, bridges, and DeFi applications
  • Cash Management (cash positioning, transaction data, reconciliation, forecasting) and Liquidity Management experience strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of Liquidity and Cash Management products including sweeps, zero balance accounts, physical cash concentration, and multi-currency notional pooling
  • Experience with tokenization of traditional financial products or integration of traditional and digital asset workflows
  • Deeply understands where treasury and digital asset product markets are headed to ensure products are addressing underserved needs and pain points

This position blends high-level planning with practical senior engineering to support a workforce spread around the world.

Required Technical Expertise

  • Expert-level understanding of Arista EOS (CloudVision, MLAG, VXLAN) and Aruba Central.
  • Deep experience with Palo Alto Networks (Panorama, GlobalProtect, and Prisma or equivalent experience)
  • Great understanding of cloud based Radius/TACACS+ authentication and certificate management platforms such as Arista AGNI, Foxpass, and ClearPass.

Soft Skills and Leadership

  • Asynchronous Collaboration: Ability to clearly detail complex architectures for a distributed team (confluence, diagrams, technical specs).
  • Critical Thinking: Ability to balance immediate "firefighting" with long-term technical debt reduction.
  • Mentorship: A track record of leveling up junior engineers through experience with guidelines, code reviews, and technical workshops.

What Sets You Apart (Bonus)

  • Experience operating within multi-vendor network stacks.
  • Exposure to fast-paced, globally distributed companies.

Through our crypto solutions for financial institutions, businesses, governments, and developers, we improve the global financial system. We craft greater economic fairness and opportunity for more people in more places globally. We perform the best work of our careers and develop our skills with colleagues who have our backs.

If you're ready to see your impact and embrace meaningful new challenges, join us, and build real world value.

The Work:

We're seeking a Senior Staff Engineer to act as the technical architect and strategic leader for Ripple's data platform. This role is one of the highest-impact individual contributor positions on the Data team. You will build a coherent, unified view of Ripple's data across all business units. You will establish the definitive source of truth for company metrics and lead our "AI for Data" transformation. You will collaborate across data teams and work directly with senior leadership in Data, Product, Engineering, and Go-to-Market to develop how Ripple understands itself through data. You won't just build systems; you will define the technical vision that connects them. This sits at the intersection of architecture, integration, governance, and applied AI.

What you'll do:

  • Build "One View" of Ripple by serving as the main architect for a Unified Data Fabric. Construct a well-rounded view of Ripple's data platforms, pipelines, and tools. Craft the systems and interoperability standards that bring data together across all business units for leadership, product, and GTM teams.
  • Compose and build the Ripple Metrics Store, a definitive, governed layer that serves as the single source of truth for business metrics across all business units.
  • Define metrics governance, ownership models, and validation frameworks. Build and maintain the Metrics Glossary in partnership with the Data Science team, and collaborators crafting a shared language for how Ripple measures its business.
  • Define and lead the AI roadmap for the Data organization setting the vision for how AI transforms the way Ripple builds, governs, and consumes data.
  • Enable conversational analytics and intelligence by architecting AI Agents that allow non-technical collaborators to self-serve insights directly from the data platform.
  • Automate data engineering workflows by encouraging use of AI-powered coding assistants for SQL/ETL generation. Define the standards, validation frameworks, and guidelines for AI-generated code across the team.
  • Lead cross-team build reviews, setting the technical bar for data architecture decisions across the organization.
  • Mentor and up-level engineers across data teams, raising the standard for system building, code quality, and engineering rigor.
  • Act as the main technical consultant to senior leadership across Data, Product, and Engineering regarding long-term technical bets, platform investments, and build-vs-buy decisions.

What you'll bring:

  • 14+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or related software engineering fields, with a significant portion spent in senior technical leadership or architect roles.
  • Having a track record of bringing together data ecosystems from multiple business units, you have built the connections that convert isolated data platforms into a consistent entity.
  • Deep expertise in modern data architecture, data mesh, lakehouse patterns, with hands-on experience in technologies like Spark, Kafka, Airflow, dBT, Databricks, and cloud-native data services (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Experienced in metrics governance and semantic layers, you have established or planned metrics stores, business glossaries, or comparable systems that provide an organization's source of truth.
  • Demonstrated experience with AI/ML in data engineering contexts, whether building feature stores, deploying AI-powered data quality monitoring, integrating LLMs into developer workflows, or crafting agentic systems for data operations.
  • Architectural vision paired with execution ability, you can whiteboard a multi-year platform strategy and also get into the code to prototype critical path components.
  • With outstanding communication and influence skills, you comfortably present to VP/C-level audiences. You translate technical trade-offs into business language and build consensus among teams with competing priorities.
  • A collaborative, ego-free approach to leadership, you lead through influence and technical credibility, not through title.
  • Experience with blockchain data, on-chain analytics, or large-scale financial/payments data is a plus.
  • Direct involvement with LLM-enabled developer tools and agents, AI code synthesis, RAG-style data catalogs, natural language querying interfaces, or agent orchestration solutions is beneficial.
  • BS or equivalent experience in Computer Science or similar.

$168000 - $210000

At Ripple, we’re building a world where value moves like information does today. It’s big, it’s bold, and we’re already doing it. Through our crypto solutions for financial institutions, businesses, governments and developers, we are improving the global financial system and creating greater economic fairness and opportunity for more people, in more places around the world. And we get to do the best work of our career and grow our skills surrounded by colleagues who have our backs.

If you’re ready to see your impact and unlock incredible career growth opportunities, join us, and build real world value.

THE WORK

At Ripple, the Customer Onboarding Platform is where every customer’s journey begins, and it’s about to get a full-scale rebuild.

We recently became a horizontal platform team serving all Ripple products. Our next chapter:

  • Unwinding years of Salesforce-bound logic into modern, engineering-owned backend services.
  • Integrating best-in-class vendors like Persona for KYC/KYB, while building the surrounding orchestration, data flows, and service layer.
  • Designing the systems and data model that will make onboarding scalable, observable, and reliable across products.

If you’re a Senior engineer who thrives on modernizing fragile systems, building robust services around vendor integrations, and driving architecture at company-wide scale, this is your opportunity.

Why this role matters:

Onboarding is where customers form their first impression of Ripple, and where trust is earned. As the technical anchor for a small, high-impact team, you will:

  • Build for impact – Everything you create will serve multiple Ripple products, from Payments to Custody to Stablecoin.
  • Start from zero – Design and build new backend services from the ground up to power onboarding across products.
  • Tackle the hard stuff – Unwind years of technical debt while designing systems built to last.
  • Shape Ripple’s architecture – Partner with Product, Compliance, and Engineering to influence company-wide technical direction.
  • Scale the right way – Mentor engineers and grow a high-performing team, with direct executive backing.

This isn’t just about writing code, it’s about designing how Ripple’s onboarding platform will work for years to come.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Lead the design and development of distributed, cloud-native backend services that power onboarding across Ripple’s product suite.
  • Partner with Product, Compliance, and other engineering teams to design scalable orchestration and data pipelines.
  • Migrate core onboarding logic out of Salesforce into resilient, observable services and a dedicated persistence layer.
  • Build platform capabilities that enable faster onboarding with fewer customer touchpoints, while preserving trust and compliance.
  • Contribute to foundational data modeling work that will feed into Ripple’s future identity platform (while ownership of Identity will move to a dedicated team).
  • Champion engineering excellence in code quality, testing, and operational practices.
  • Mentor engineers and help grow a lean, high-impact team.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Deep full stack engineering experience in modern, cloud-native, distributed systems.
  • Proven track record designing and delivering large-scale systems in complex environments.
  • Strong API design and integration skills (REST and/or gRPC).
  • Exposure to frontend frameworks (React, Vue, etc.) for full-stack capability.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS).
  • Comfort navigating and reducing technical debt while delivering business value.
  • Leadership skills: can set technical direction, mentor others, and influence cross-team decisions.

Preferred (But Not Required)

  • Experience with our current stack: Java + Spring Boot.
  • We welcome candidates from other backend stacks (Go, Kotlin, C#, Python, Rust, etc.) who can quickly learn JVM technologies.
  • Event-driven architecture (Kafka, SNS/SQS, etc.).
  • Domain knowledge in fintech, regtech, KYC/KYB, identity verification, or compliance-heavy systems.

If you’re ready to see your impact and unlock incredible career growth opportunities, join us, and build real world value.

THE WORK:

We are building the Ripple Controllership to move at the speed of crypto, and we need a “Lead Sniper.” We are looking for a seasoned CPA who doesn’t just strategize about AI from a distance, but actually builds and implements the workflows that will accelerate our global team.

Reporting to the Assistant Global Controller, you will be responsible for identifying manual friction and deploying AI-driven solutions across our global departments. You are not just managing projects; you are fundamentally changing the "speed of play" for our team

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Architectural Strategy & AI Deployment: Develop and implement a strategy for AI tools and automation. You will translate complex accounting workflows into technical requirements, partnering closely with Finance Systems, IT, and Data Engineering to co-develop and deploy AI agents from "zero to one."
  • Process Architecture & Integration: Lead the "Scouting Report" on our current workflows. Design robust, scalable financial processes that meet the company’s current needs and future growth, ensuring seamless data flow between AI solutions and core systems like Oracle Fusion Cloud.
  • Agile Project Management: Own the roadmap for transformation projects. You will break down complex initiatives into short weekly "sprints," ensuring the team sees immediate value and maintains momentum.
  • Consultative Change Leadership: Serve as the bridge for our hesitant operations teams. You will use your "consultant toolkit" to diagnose bottlenecks, build trust, and coach the team through the transition from manual work to AI-augmented workflows.
  • Compliance & Shielding: Ensure all automated processes are robust, audit-ready, and fully compliant with US GAAP. You are the safeguard that ensures innovation doesn't create risk.
  • Ruthless Prioritization: Manage the "Transformation Backlog." You will decide what we fix now, what we automate next, and what we stop doing entirely to save the team's bandwidth.

Hands-on Execution: Willingness to jump into the trenches to execute and unblock bottlenecks, ensuring high development velocity across the controllership.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • CPA + AI/Tech Fluency: CPA is preferred. You have a deep understanding of seasoned accounting principles combined with a proven track record of implementing AI/automation solutions.
  • Experience: 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a background in Big 4 or Management Consulting highly preferred.
  • Core Finance Process Expertise: In-depth understanding of processes like Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, and how they map to enterprise systems.
  • The "Sniper" Mindset: You are precise, autonomous, and high-velocity. You prefer "moving fast and fixing things" over long, drawn-out committee meetings.
  • Expert Project Management: You don't just "task-manage"; you architect projects. Experience with Agile, Scrum, or Lean Six Sigma is a significant plus.
  • Hands-on Implementation: Proven ability to leverage Tier 1 ERPs (Oracle Fusion preferred) and integrate them with third-party tech solutions to transform business processes.
  • Consultative Communication: You can talk shop with auditors and talk code with developers. You are an expert at "selling" change to a hesitant audience and unblocking people who are stuck in the weeds.

Strategic Problem Solving: You don't just put out fires; you build fireproof systems.

GTreasury, now a Ripple solution, was acquired by Ripple in 2025, marking a significant expansion into the multi-trillion-dollar corporate finance arena.

GTreasury has more than 40 years of experience supporting some of the world’s largest and most sophisticated companies. Integrating its treasury command center into Ripple’s technology stack gives corporates the ability to move, manage and optimize liquidity in real-time, across traditional and digital assets, under one expanded umbrella.

Join us to build the future of corporate treasury and the infrastructure that powers the Internet of Value.

The Opportunity

The GSmart AI platform is Ripple Treasury's production AI middleware layer — the infrastructure that enables generative AI capabilities across the entire product suite. As Manager of AI Platform Engineering, you will own this platform end-to-end: building new AI inference endpoints, writing prompts and evaluations, and expanding generative AI integration into solution areas that haven't previously used AI. You will also build and lead a team of up to four engineers.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will write code and ship features alongside your team while defining the technical direction of AI across Ripple Treasury. The outputs of your platform reach CFOs and treasurers at major global banks — accuracy, reliability, and trust are non-negotiable.

What You'll Do

  • Own the GSmart AI platform — design, build, operate, and evolve the production AI middleware serving enterprise treasury clients, including inference endpoints, prompt pipelines, and context engineering architecture.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team of up to four AI platform engineers, coaching direct reports, managing performance, and fostering a culture of engineering rigor.
  • Write and maintain production prompts using context engineering principles — structured prompt design and data transformation rather than retrieval-augmented generation.
  • Build evaluation frameworks as first-class engineering — create eval rubrics, golden datasets, LLM-as-a-judge pipelines, and CI/CD-integrated quality gates for every AI feature.
  • Partner with authorities across treasury domains (cash forecasting, payments, risk management) to understand business logic and build domain-accurate evaluations.
  • Advocate for generative AI adoption across Ripple Treasury solution areas, educating product and engineering teams on what AI can and cannot do in regulated financial contexts.
  • Operate and maintain cloud infrastructure — Azure Container Apps, API Management, Key Vault, Redis, and Langfuse observability for the AI platform.
  • Ensure compliance with AI governance frameworks relevant to regulated financial services, including ISO/IEC 42001, EU AI Act, and SWIFT CSCF.
  • Drive AI-assisted engineering practices — champion daily use of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor) across the team and broader engineering organization.
  • Recruit exceptional engineers — partner with talent acquisition to identify, interview, and hire AI platform engineers as you scale the team.

What You Bring

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience with at least 2 years building and operating AI/ML systems in production environments (not prototypes or demos)
  • 2+ years of engineering management experience, including hiring, coaching, and growing engineers
  • Hands-on experience with LLM-based systems in production — prompt engineering, inference optimization, and production monitoring at scale
  • Strong evaluation engineering skills — experience building golden datasets, eval rubrics, or automated evaluation pipelines for AI system quality
  • Cloud infrastructure expertise — experience deploying and operating containerized services on Azure (or equivalent cloud), including CI/CD pipelines
  • Proficiency in Python for AI workflows (agentic flows, context engineering, data transformation) and familiarity with .NET backend systems
  • Experience collaborating with domain experts to translate business knowledge into AI system design and evaluation criteria
  • Excellent communication skills — ability to explain AI capabilities and limitations to non-technical partners in clear, concrete terms
  • Comfort working in regulated environments where outputs must be accurate, auditable, and trustworthy

Nice to Have

  • Experience with the specific tech stack: Azure OpenAI (GPT-4.1), LiteLLM proxy, Langfuse, Azure Container Apps, Redis
  • Familiarity with AI governance frameworks (ISO/IEC 42001, EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF) or model risk management practices
  • Background in financial services, treasury, or enterprise SaaS
  • Experience building context engineering architectures (as distinct from RAG)
  • Contributions to AI evaluation tooling or open-source AI infrastructure projects

  • Collect feedback to inform product roadmaps while serving as a technical liaison between developers, funded financial projects, and Ripple's product and engineering teams
  • Leverage insights, data, and strategic narratives to influence cross-functional stakeholders and executive leadership!

THE WORK:

Global treasury doesn't work without global connectivity. We’re hiring a Lead Product Manager to own the Connectivity Platform—the foundational infrastructure that connects Ripple Treasury to the world’s financial networks.

You will own and drive the end-to-end connectivity strategy across bank channels (including our ClearConnect proprietary reporting & payments APIs), money market fund platforms (via SDK integrations), ERP ecosystems (third-party connectors & SDKs), and other critical Office of the CFO integration points.

Following Ripple's acquisition of GTreasury, we're building the future of treasury management at the intersection of traditional finance and blockchain technology. Your work will ensure the reliable, scalable, and secure data exchange that underpins our core treasury platform experience, balancing build-vs-integrate decisions to accelerate time-to-value for enterprise clients across all ingress and egress pathways.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Lead the Connectivity Team (Pod): Serve as the definitive product owner for a newly formed, dedicated multi-functional engineering team. You will partner closely with engineering leads to build, scale, and maintain our connectivity platform, which is the foundational layer enabling real-time data exchange across banks, ERPs, fund portals, and digital asset networks.
  • Drive the Core Mandate: Serve as the single product leader accountable for global connectivity coverage, balancing build-vs-integrate decisions to ensure rapid time-to-value for our customers.
  • API Standardization & Developer Experience: Evangelize an API-first approach within Ripple Treasury. You will manage and streamline developer-facing documentation and materials, ensuring our internal solution teams (Payments, Cash, Accounting) and external partners can easily consume our standard APIs.
  • Manage Partner SDK Lifecycles: Own the lifecycle management for partner SDKs and third-party connectors, driving deep interoperability with Enterprise ERPs (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Money Market Fund portals.
  • Expand Bank Channels: Optimize and expand our global banking network, using both standard reporting/payment APIs and our ClearConnect proprietary channels to ensure resilient data exchange across all ingress and egress pathways.
  • Lead Through Complexity: Proactively resolve conflicts and drive alignment between Engineering, Security, and Banking Partners. You will obsess over the health of the network, driving initiatives to improve uptime, reduce latency, and automate error handling.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • 10+ years in product management, with a specific focus on API Platforms, Integration iPaaS, or Fintech Infrastructure.
  • Team Leadership: Experience leading dedicated multi-functional engineering teams and driving alignment across multiple partners to launch net-new platform capabilities.
  • Technical Fluency: Deep understanding and passion for systems and APIs. You possess the technical depth to interpret complex bank specifications (ISO 20022, NACHA, SWIFT gpi) and translate them into foundational building blocks for engineering.
  • Developer Empathy: Experience building for a developer audience. You know what makes a great API and how to write clear, compelling user documentation.
  • Strategic Vision: You can look at a fragmented landscape of legacy banks and modern fintechs and see a path to unification. You are comfortable prioritizing "boring" infrastructure work because you know it drives long-term leverage.

Preferred (not required):

  • Deep expertise in enterprise ERP ecosystems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics), including middleware and API-layer connectivity patterns that enable real-time treasury data flows across complex, multi-entity environments.
  • Experience evaluating and expanding proprietary bank and financial institution connectivity with a clear point of view on when to build direct integrations, when to partner, and how to structure that analysis in a way that drives long-term platform leverage over commodity aggregation.
  • Proven track record building and scaling a developer experience, including API portals, comprehensive documentation, sandbox environments, OAuth/key management, and developer support workflows – creating the kind of ecosystem infrastructure that makes Ripple Treasury the easiest platform to connect to in treasury.
  • Background in institutional or transaction banking, including payment rails, bank statement formats (MT940, BAI2, CAMT), and the nuances of working with bank connectivity teams across regions.
  • Familiarity with Money Market Fund (MMF) portals and digital asset custody integrations, with an understanding of how programmable liquidity changes the connectivity model.
  • Working knowledge of SOC 2, GDPR, and PSD2/Open Banking compliance frameworks as they apply to financial data connectivity and third-party integration governance.

At Ripple, we’re building a world where value moves like information does today. It’s big, it’s bold, and we’re already doing it. THE WORK:

Ripple is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer, Marketing to join our growing Design & Marketing Engineering team. You’ll play a critical role in shaping, maintaining, and scaling Ripple’s marketing web ecosystem — building dynamic, performant, and globally scalable experiences that elevate our brand and empower our internal teams.

This role is ideal for an engineer who’s passionate about modern web architecture and thrives at the intersection of design, marketing, and technology. You’ll collaborate daily with digital designers, brand designers, integrated marketers, and content teams — architecting solutions that are elegant for users and maintainable for the business.

You’ll lead by example through hands-on coding and thoughtful architecture — participating in the technical direction of Ripple’s marketing sites (including, but not limited to, our evolution of Next.js + Sanity + Vercel stack into a fully dynamic, CMS-driven platform).

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Own and evolve the architecture of Ripple’s marketing web platform — leveraging Next.js (App Router), Sanity, and Vercel to deliver fast, dynamic, and flexible experiences.
  • Lead full-stack feature development from concept to deployment — collaborating closely with Design, Marketing, and external development partners.
  • Design and implement scalable CMS schemas and APIs in Sanity to support modular, flexible content creation and page building.
  • Develop reusable, performant front-end components in React/TypeScript, aligned with Ripple’s brand and design systems.
  • Continuously improve site performance, accessibility, and technical SEO using modern best practices and data-driven insights (Lighthouse, Web Vitals, etc.).
  • Streamline the development workflow — optimize CI/CD pipelines, preview environments, and local builds using Vercel and related tooling.
  • Define and enforce coding standards, documentation, and architecture guidelines to ensure long-term maintainability and consistency.
  • Mentor and collaborate with cross-functional partners, helping designers, marketers, and content teams better understand what’s possible with our platform.
  • Evaluate and integrate third-party tools and APIs (analytics, experimentation, personalization, search, etc.) in partnership with marketing operations and product teams.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • 8+ years of professional web development experience, including full-stack or front-end leadership roles.
  • Deep expertise in modern JavaScript and React (Next.js 13+ preferred, ideally App Router + Server Components).
  • Hands-on experience with headless CMSs, especially Sanity (schema design, GROQ queries, content APIs, custom inputs, etc.). Experience with Contentful or similar systems is also valuable.
  • Strong understanding of performance optimization, SSR/SSG, and edge deployment strategies (Vercel, Cloudflare, etc.).
  • Familiarity with TailwindCSS, TypeScript, Node.js, and REST/GraphQL APIs.
  • Proven experience building scalable, component-driven design systems and integrating them with CMS-driven architectures.
  • A passion for bridging design and engineering — you value aesthetics, UX, and content as much as code quality.
  • Experience working with cross-functional creative teams, translating abstract marketing or design goals into reliable, production-ready implementations.
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator; able to lead discussions across disciplines and advocate for technical best practices.
  • Strategic problem solver who’s comfortable owning complex systems end-to-end — from DevOps to browser debugging.

Preferred (not required):

  • Experience with Vercel edge functions, Sanity Studio customization, or live preview integrations.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing frameworks (e.g., VWO, Optimizely) and analytics tools (GA4, Segment, Amplitude).
  • Understanding of web security, SEO, accessibility (WCAG), and web performance metrics.
  • Prior experience in marketing engineering, design systems, or brand website ecosystems.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or public demos showcasing modern front-end craftsmanship.

If you’re ready to see your impact and unlock incredible career growth opportunities, join us, and build real world value.

THE WORK:

At Ripple, The Identity and Trust Platform is proposed as the foundation to enable the "One Ripple" vision. Its goal is to solve identity problems across all products and acquisitions by establishing a single system of record for customers, users and their identities. This platform will decouple operational identity from legacy systems, unify compliance and verification context (such as shared KYB readiness), and define a shared entitlements layer for consistent product access.

We are looking for Staff Engineers who are passionate about solving complex, foundational problems, eager to make a high impact by solving the identity and trust challenges across a global financial network, and are driven to design the scalable platform that will define the unified customer experience for all of Ripple's current and future products.

The Identity and Trust Platform is foundational to building customer trust and defining the single system of record. As the technical anchor for a small, high-impact team, you will:

  • Build the Foundation for 'One Ripple': Establish the Identity Platform as the single system of record, decoupling operational identity from legacy systems to enable a unified experience across all Ripple products (Payments, Custody, Stablecoins, Ripple Prime, and others).
  • Drive Strategic Decoupling: Own the critical migration of core identity logic out of legacy systems, eliminating years of technical debt and preparing a path to retire them.
  • Define the Future of Trust: Design and build the shared entitlements layer and unified compliance context (e.g., shared KYB readiness) to ensure consistent, secure product access for all customers.
  • Scale and Mentor: Serve as a technical anchor, setting architectural direction, championing engineering excellence, and mentoring engineers to grow a high-performing, foundational platform team.

This isn’t just about writing code — it’s about designing how Ripple’s operational identity platform will work for years to come!

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Lead the design and development of distributed, cloud-native backend services that power the Identity and Trust Platform across Ripple’s product suite.
  • Define and implement the foundational data model and APIs that serve as the single system of record for customers, entities, and users.
  • Drive the strategic migration of core identity and customer lifecycle logic out of legacy systems into resilient, observable, and Identity Platform-first services.
  • Design and build the core platform capabilities, including the unified entitlements layer and shared compliance context, to ensure consistent and secure access across all products.
  • Partner with Product, Compliance, and other engineering teams to define and champion standard integration patterns and contracts for the platform.
  • Champion engineering excellence in architecture, code quality, testing, and operational practices.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • 8+ years experience in Software Engineering, with a significant focus on backend systems.
  • Deep, hands-on backend engineering experience building and operating modern, cloud-native, and highly-available distributed systems at scale.
  • Proven track record designing and delivering foundational, large-scale systems in complex, regulated environments.
  • Expert-level skills in API design and integration (e.g., REST and/or gRPC), with a focus on defining clear, reusable service contracts.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS).
  • Ability to strategically navigate and reduce technical debt while driving significant business value and high-leverage migration efforts.
  • Strong technical leadership skills: proven ability to set architectural direction, mentor high-performing engineers, and influence critical, cross-team decisions across an organization.

Preferred (But Not Required)

  • Experience with our current stack: Java + Spring Boot. We encourage candidates from other robust backend stacks (Go, Kotlin, C#, Python, Rust, etc.) who can quickly learn JVM technologies.
  • Experience with event-driven architecture (Kafka, SNS/SQS, etc.), crucial for building a decoupled and resilient platform.
  • Domain knowledge in FinTech, RegTech, KYC/KYB, identity verification, or compliance-heavy systems.
