VP, Metadata, Data Cataloguing and Semantic Layer

What you'll do

• Define and own the enterprise vision, strategy, and roadmap for metadata management capabilities.
• Lead the design of enterprise metadata standards, taxonomies, and stewardship processes.
• Oversee implementation and adoption of data catalogue capabilities across the enterprise.
• Establish and lead the semantic layer strategy to enable consistent analytics and AI consumption.
• Drive cross-functional alignment to resolve metadata gaps and semantic inconsistencies.
• Ensure metadata and catalogue capabilities support regulatory obligations and compliance requirements.

What we're looking for

• Significant experience leading enterprise metadata and data catalog capabilities in a complex, regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of metadata frameworks, semantic layers, business glossary design, and lineage transparency.
• Ability to define strategy, prioritize investments, and translate business needs into scalable operating models and measurable outcomes.
• Experience influencing and leading across diverse functions with strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Expertise in data governance principles, ownership, classification, lineage, policy alignment, and control requirements for regulatory compliance.
