As a Full Stack Staff Software Engineer on the Squiggly Platform team at Walmart, you will be responsible for enhancing existing web and mobile applications while also creating new ones. Your day-to-day tasks include implementing best practices, mentoring junior developers, adding test cases, improving CI/CD processes, building back-end services for front-end apps, and documenting application flow. You will provide technical guidance to ensure high-quality performance in our front-end applications, participate in support rotations, and contribute to code reviews and coding standards. The role requires expertise in React and React Native, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, state management libraries like Redux or MobX, Docker, Kubernetes, and agile methodologies such as Scrum. You will also stay current with industry trends and apply this knowledge to enhance our front-end capabilities, fostering an inclusive and efficient environment for Walmart associates.
Mentor junior engineers in best practices and development methodologies.

What we're looking for
Expert level knowledge in React and React Native.
Experience with Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, Redux/MobX, Docker, Kubernetes.
Strong problem-solving skills for complex issues and performance optimization.
Proficiency in designing reusable UI components and implementing accessibility principles.
