What you'll do
Provide expert support for space allocation recommendations and usage optimization.
Install, upgrade, and maintain IBM and third-party mainframe storage-related products.
Perform SMPE installation and maintenance of program products.
Utilize JCL, TSO, and mainframe scripting (Rexx, CLIST) effectively.
Manage virtual tape and backup processes using Metro Mirror, Global Mirror, Hyperswap technologies.
Use IBM utilities including DB2 and IMS utilities for system management.
What we're looking for
Deep knowledge of mainframe storage utilities including DFHSM, DFSMS, FDR, MVSRM.
Expertise in JCL, TSO, Rexx, CLIST scripting for mainframe operations.
Experience with SMPE installation and maintenance of program products.
Strong understanding of IBM mainframe storage concepts and disaster recovery processes.
Familiarity with BMC Tools such as MainView/AMI OPS, SRM, AutoOps preferred.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field plus 3 years' experience.
