We are seeking a Senior Manager of Software Engineering to lead the ASPEN platform development for International markets within Walmart’s Supply Chain Technology ecosystem. This role involves owning the engineering strategy and execution, ensuring operational excellence in scaling and securing the ASPEN platform which serves as the system of record for replenishment settings across hierarchies. The candidate will manage a team responsible for configuration services, APIs, and platform capabilities while driving modern practices like cloud-native architectures, CI/CD, automated testing, and observability. Key responsibilities include enabling GRS decommissioning by replacing legacy logic with ASPEN capabilities, ensuring seamless integration with EDF and other platforms, and maintaining product stability and performance. The role requires expertise in Java, Python, Kubernetes, AWS, and strong leadership skills to collaborate effectively across Product, Architecture, Data Science, Operations, and Global Engineering teams.
Own end-to-end engineering responsibility for the ASPEN platform, ensuring design, development, scalability, reliability, and security.
Lead a team of engineers responsible for replenishment configuration services, APIs, and platform capabilities in International markets.
Drive adoption of modern engineering practices such as cloud-native architectures, CI/CD, automated testing, and observability.
Ensure seamless integration of ASPEN with EDF, DRIVE, and other downstream platforms, acting as a key technical liaison.
Own product stability, availability, and performance, including production support, incident management, and risk mitigation.
Lead technical debt reduction initiatives and ensure compliance with Walmart’s security, platform, and cloud governance standards.
