As an ETF Product Developer at BlackRock’s ETF Platform team within Global Markets & Index Investments, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and enhancement of iShares products. Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing product changes and launching new ETFs while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams such as Portfolio Management, Legal, and Compliance to ensure successful implementation. You will need to possess experience in financial services, particularly in ETF product development or risk management, along with strong project management skills and the ability to communicate complex technical content effectively. The role demands a deep understanding of securities markets and investment products, coupled with an eagerness to innovate and improve investor outcomes amidst increasing market complexity.
Manage the project development and launch of new ETFs.
Enhance existing ETF products and develop new creation/redemption processes.
Identify and implement process improvements to reduce risk and increase efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic priorities for ETF innovation.
Develop a deep understanding of ETF product opportunities and market demands.
Communicate regularly with management on the progress and implementation of new ETFs.
What we're looking for
Experience in financial services with a focus on ETF product development, investment operations, or risk management.
Proven ability to lead projects and build relationships with internal partners and external service providers.
Strong understanding of various asset classes including equity, fixed income, and commodities.
