As a Senior UAS Software Engineer on the cutting-edge autonomy team, you will design and develop machine learning models to enable intelligent behaviors in unmanned aircraft systems for Army clients. Your daily tasks include creating reinforcement learning algorithms for navigation and mission execution, implementing sensor fusion models using EO/IR, LiDAR, and GPS-denied data, and optimizing AI models for deployment on edge compute platforms like GPUs and embedded systems. You will also build simulation pipelines for autonomy validation, deploy containerized AI models to airborne nodes, and conduct HIL and SIL testing. The role requires proficiency in Python and C++, experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow, and familiarity with robotics middleware like ROS or ROS2. This position demands a Secret clearance and 3+ years of relevant experience in machine learning for perception and autonomous navigation systems.

What we're looking for
3+ years of experience designing and training machine learning models for perception, object detection, tracking, and classification.
Experience developing autonomy behaviors within UAS platforms like Hivemind and integrating them into systems.
Proficiency in Python and C++, with expertise in deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and ONNX.
Strong background in building and deploying AI models on edge hardware including NVIDIA Jetson, GPUs, and embedded platforms.
Knowledge of robotics middleware like ROS or ROS2 and experience with computer vision or autonomous navigation systems.
Secret clearance required.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
