The Technology Manager, Partner Integrations role within the Workforce Benefits Division requires a seasoned professional to lead and manage an Integration/API Engineering team while serving as the technical leader for Partnership solutions. This individual will establish platform standards and integration best practices, oversee secure and scalable API-led integrations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to design executable technical solutions. Key responsibilities include setting architectural direction, ensuring quality through testing and governance, and resolving production incidents. Ideal candidates possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, 10+ years of experience in application integration, and hands-on expertise with MuleSoft, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures. Experience in regulated industries like insurance is preferred, along with deep knowledge of B2B partner platforms and enterprise scheduling tools.
Act as the domain technical lead for integrations and set platform standards.
Lead and manage an integration engineering team within an agile model.
Serve as the technical leader for Partnership solutions, translating needs into designs.
Define and govern solution architecture artifacts including diagrams and specifications.
Establish testing and quality standards to minimize production defects.
What we're looking for
At least 10 years of experience in application integration and platform engineering.
Proven leadership as a people manager for engineering or platform teams for at least 5 years.
Strong hands-on expertise with MuleSoft and modern integration patterns like REST APIs, event-driven architectures.
Experience providing technical leadership across cross-functional value streams without direct management authority.
Deep knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
Background in regulated industries such as insurance or financial services preferred.
