Role Details

Company:

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc.

Job Area:

Engineering Services Group, Engineering Services Group > Program Management

General Summary:

Qualcomm’s Cloud AI organization is looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to help plan and execute software engineering initiatives for Cloud BU products.

You will work closely with senior engineering leads to translate technical direction into clear plans, milestones, and delivery outcomes, while applying strong technical judgment to manage dependencies, risks, and integration challenges across hardware and software teams.

This is a hands‑on, execution‑focused TPM role that requires both program management rigor and technical depth.

What You’ll Do

  • Help plan and drive execution of cross‑functional initiatives spanning:
  • AI accelerator platform engineering
  • Linux‑based system software
  • Rack‑scale and data center management software
  • Build and maintain execution plans with milestones, dependencies, and risks
  • Lead execution‑focused reviews centered on readiness and deliverables
  • Work closely with the lead to help keep new features on track

Technical Engagement

  • Maintain working knowledge of AI accelerator platforms, Linux runtime environments, and rack‑scale software
  • Review technical designs to assess execution risk and readiness
  • Participate in technical discussions to inform planning and sequencing
  • Investigate execution issues to help unblock progress and reduce delivery risk

Technical depth is necessary to help run multiple programs in parallel, not to replace engineering ownership.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AI accelerators, SoCs, or system‑level platforms
  • Familiarity with Linux runtimes, including driver and system‑service interactions
  • Exposure to orchestration, infrastructure, or rack‑scale data center software
  • Experience coordinating execution across firmware, Linux, and infrastructure teams
  • Strong execution skills in ambiguous, cross‑functional environments

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of Program Management or related work experience.
