What you'll do

  • Investigate complex escalations and lead high-stakes technical calls for critical customer issues.
  • Mentor the Global Support Engineering team to handle any challenge effectively.
  • Own deep-dive investigations in APM, addressing issues related to distributed tracing and service dependencies.
  • Validate backend behavior and shape the evolution of APM tooling with Engineering and Product teams.
  • Build reusable trace analysis workflows and troubleshooting documentation for scalable support.

What we're looking for

  • Extensive experience with distributed systems and application performance monitoring (APM).
  • Proficient in debugging APM issues, including missing traces, partial spans, and incorrect tag propagation.
  • Strong background in microservices architecture and event-driven systems for observability.
  • Skilled in working with tracing libraries and instrumentation methods across multiple programming languages.
  • Ability to develop deep technical expertise and continuously learn as the product evolves.
  • Experience in building reusable tooling and documentation to improve supportability at scale.
