The Boeing Company is looking for a System Design Integration Specialist – Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) (Lead or Senior) to join the team in North Charleston, SC; Everett, WA; Renton, WA; or Seattle, WA.
In this role, you will be accountable for integration responsibilities relating to the ERP-SAP implementation, including designing, documenting, and validating how functionality and data flow across SAP and non-SAP systems, translating business requirements into system design artifacts, and ensuring integrated solution integrity across the landscape.
You will partner with functional leads, application teams, technical integrators, and data engineering to deliver robust, secure, and testable integration designs.
Position Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end integration design for assigned modules/process areas within the SAP/ERP landscape, including inbound/outbound interfaces, Intermediate Documents (IDocs), Business Application Programming Interfaces (BAPIs), Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), middleware (Process Integration / Process Orchestration (PI/PO), Business Technology Platform (BTP) or equivalent), and file-based integrations
- Create and maintain integration architecture artifacts: interface specifications, sequence diagrams, data flow diagrams, mapping matrices, technical design documents, and cutover/integration test plans
- Analyze and document system-to-system data flows, data transformations, enrichment rules, and reconciliation approaches
- Collaborate with business analysts, functional process owners, and technical teams to ensure designs meet business intent and operational constraints
- Define interface error handling, retries, Service Level Agreement (SLA) expectations, and monitoring/alerting requirements in coordination with operations teams
- Support build, unit, integration, and system testing; validate end-to-end scenarios; troubleshoot integration issues during testing and deployment
- Contribute to design reviews, change control, and configuration governance; ensure alignment to enterprise architecture and security standards
- Mentor junior team members and participate in technical hiring and onboarding when required
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of Information Technology (IT) experience with SAP supporting large and complex business environments
- 5+ years of experience integrating SAP with non-SAP external systems and internal legacy systems
- 5+ years’ experience related to product development (configuration management, design, integration, etc.)
- 5+ years of experience with managing control processes and producing clear status reporting and recovery plans
- 5+ years of experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) and configuration management with release processes
- 3+ years of experience creating and interpreting data flow diagrams and/or technical specification documents
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- SAP functional exposure to understand business semantics
- Solid knowledge of integration testing practices, monitoring, error handling patterns and production support handoffs
- Excellent collaboration and facilitation skills to work across application teams, infrastructure, and business stakeholders
- Experience with cloud integrations and API-first design
- SAP certification(s) in relevant modules or integration technologies

Summary pay range for Senior: $136,850 - $197,800
Summary pay range for Lead: $164,900 - $239,200
