Supplier Quality Engineer II

What you'll do

• Establish and enforce quality standards for suppliers to ensure compliance with company guidelines.
• Develop and prioritize an auditing schedule to monitor supplier performance and adherence to GMPs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute qualification projects and support new product development.
• Provide technical guidance and quality compliance throughout the NPD lifecycle for newly qualified parts.
• Define receiving inspection requirements and validate test methods for all internal Medtronic Test Methods.
• Evaluate suppliers' internal functions to assess overall performance and provide feedback on operational improvements.

What we're looking for

• Requires a bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Collaborates with suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve production standards.
• Develops and prioritizes auditing schedules for supplier performance evaluations.
• Provides technical guidance and ensures compliance with industry, regulatory, and customer requirements.
• Coordinates Approved Supplier List and deploys Supplier Owned Quality strategies.
• Interfaces with internal customers, suppliers, and external regulatory agencies effectively.
• Demonstrates strong communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
