As a Staff Software Engineer at CVS Health’s Digital team, you will lead and advance Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), AIOps, Observability, and Monitoring capabilities. Your day-to-day responsibilities include defining enterprise-wide SRE practices, driving the adoption of AI-driven operations to improve system resilience, and building scalable observability frameworks. You will work with tools like AppDynamics, Grafana, Prometheus, and OpenTelemetry, and have hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Define and implement enterprise-wide SRE practices including SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
Lead adoption of AIOps solutions to enable predictive monitoring and automated root cause analysis.
Architect scalable observability frameworks covering metrics, logs, traces, and events.
Build self-healing systems and automate remediation workflows to reduce MTTR.
Develop internal platforms for observability, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.
Mentor engineers and lead design reviews focused on scalability, resilience, and operability.
What we're looking for
5+ years of experience in software engineering or SRE with large-scale distributed systems.
Expertise in Observability tools like AppDynamics, Grafana, Prometheus, and OpenTelemetry.
Hands-on experience with AIOps platforms for anomaly detection and event correlation.
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Kubernetes-based architectures.
Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, Go) and Infrastructure as Code tools.
Experience implementing incident management processes and root cause analysis.
