Ideal candidates have expertise in radar, EO/IR, RF, and EW systems, proficiency in analytical tools like MATLAB, Python, C++, COMSOL, or Ansys, and a strong background in payload integration and validation. This role demands deep domain knowledge and the ability to drive complex technical projects from concept through delivery.

What you'll do

  • Conduct trades for communications, sensing, and effector systems to ensure mission success.
  • Architect autonomous multi-function payload solutions with clear requirements and interfaces.
  • Develop physics-based models of payload system performance in collaboration with experts.
  • Adapt or create validated effects-based models for mission-level modeling tools.
  • Validate system performance through close cooperation with test & integration engineers.

What we're looking for

  • Top Secret security clearance required
  • 5+ years of experience in relevant Science and Engineering fields
  • Expertise in communications, sensors, and effector systems (Radar, EO/IR, RF, EW)
  • Proficiency in physics-based modeling and analysis of system performance
  • Extensive experience in payload integration and validation processes
  • Knowledge of advanced communications, sensing, and effector systems preferred
