TL;DR · Senior Mission Systems Engineer, C2 Networking, Air Dominance & Strike, Active Clearance

As a Senior Mission Systems Engineer at Anduril's Air Dominance and Strike team, you will focus on C2 Networking by architecting resilient multi-classification network topologies for autonomous air platforms. Your daily tasks include designing end-to-end data flows, selecting and integrating networking hardware and software, and validating these systems through rigorous testing in lab environments. You will use Python and Bash to develop automated test scripts and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of networking stacks onto vehicle platforms. Essential skills include expert knowledge of unicast and multicast protocols (IGMP, PIM, OSPF, BGP), Linux-based operating systems, and troubleshooting techniques across all network layers. This role requires a U.S. Top Secret clearance and experience in complex network solutions for military applications, making it ideal for those passionate about delivering cutting-edge autonomous capabilities.

What you'll do

  • Architect and evolve resilient, multi-classification network topologies for autonomous air platforms.
  • Design and validate end-to-end data flows from onboard compute to ground-based C2 nodes.
  • Own the selection, integration, and qualification of networking hardware and software in lab settings.
  • Build simulation environments to model mission scenarios and stress-test network failover behavior.
  • Develop automated test scripts to validate QoS policies and routing protocols under realistic load conditions.

What we're looking for

  • 7+ years experience as a network engineer
  • Expert level understanding of unicast and multicast data flows, IGMP, PIM, OSPF, BGP, PBR
  • Advanced knowledge of Linux-based operating systems and troubleshooting techniques at layers 1-7
  • Ability to decompose mission-level requirements into detailed network engineering specifications
  • Must hold a U.S. Top Secret security clearance
