What you'll do

Designs and develops custom electronic solutions, including PCBs, firmware, and FPGA code for solid rocket motor testing.
Specifies and installs data collection devices to measure performance metrics of solid rocket motors accurately.
Oversees the installation and testing of new measuring devices and control systems during rocket motor development.
Acts as project engineer, managing design, prototype fabrication, and manufacturing development phases.
Drafts technical documents and presents testing results for approval by management.

What we're looking for

8+ years of experience in designing, developing, and installing sensors for data collection.
Proficient in NI LabVIEW or DAQmx, with knowledge of COTS data acquisition systems.
Expertise in signal conditioning, analog and digital circuit design, and sensor selection.
Ability to develop computer applications for data collection using Python and other languages.
Strong understanding of applied math and physics, with excellent organizational skills.
Experience in drafting technical documents and providing training on devices and systems.
Secret security clearance required; Top Secret preferred.
