The ideal candidate has deep experience in analytics engineering, strong SQL and data modeling skills, proficiency in Python for automation, and extensive knowledge of Snowflake architecture and governance. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to lead ambiguous projects while maintaining high standards for financial reporting and compliance.

What you'll do

Build and own dbt models for the financial subledger platform, including naming conventions and macros.
Implement strong data quality controls in dbt: tests, freshness checks, anomaly detection, and automated reconciliations.
Embed AI-assisted reconciliation capabilities into the platform within security/controls guardrails.
Own end-to-end subledger data products with traceability from source events through transformations to reporting outputs.
Partner with Accounting/Financial Reporting to translate requirements into clear model specifications and ship durable dbt assets.

What we're looking for

Deep hands-on experience with production dbt projects and Snowflake.
Strong SQL and data modeling skills for finance reporting and reconciliations.
Experience in building and maintaining robust data pipelines in Snowflake.
Proficient in Python or similar language for data tooling and automation.
Expertise in Snowflake architecture, security, governance, and operational excellence.
