Staff AI Software Engineer – Platform - FanDuel Careers

What you'll do

• Design and operationalize a centralized multimodal memory architecture for vector retrieval, knowledge graphs, ontologies, and metadata systems.
• Lead the strategy and execution for structuring enterprise knowledge across agents, copilots, automation systems, and customer-facing AI products.
• Establish regulatory-compliant knowledge graph strategies that create deep context about FanDuel’s products, employees, operations, customers, and systems.
• Create secure memory patterns for AI agents to acquire, store, retrieve, update, and discard context during runtime efficiently and securely.
• Ensure knowledge, retrieval, graph, and memory systems meet regulatory requirements, ethical standards, privacy obligations, and responsible gaming principles.

What we're looking for

• 7+ years of engineering experience with large distributed systems.
• Practical fluency in generative AI tools, including graph DBs and RAG.
• Experience building or operating vector and graph databases, ontologies.
• Track record of launching products in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
• Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to operate autonomously and influence across matrixed organizations.
