As a Staff AI Security Engineer on Uber’s Cyber Defense team, you will lead the development of advanced security platforms that leverage AI and ML to combat sophisticated threats. Your responsibilities include architecting an AI-driven red-teaming platform for automated threat analysis and attack simulation, as well as designing autonomous security agents for real-time incident response. You will also ensure secure environments for developing and executing AI/ML models used in adversary simulations. This role requires expertise in programming languages like Golang, Java, or Python, along with a deep understanding of distributed systems and high-availability design. Ideal candidates have extensive experience in red-teaming, building AI-driven attack tools, and integrating GenAI agents into production security services. Familiarity with EDR solutions and SIEM platforms is essential, as well as knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST CSF and ISO 27001.
