As a Senior Staff Agentic AI Engineer at Intuit’s Tech Strategic Programs organization, you will lead the design and deployment of AI agents that enhance employee workflows by integrating with internal systems. Your day-to-day involves architecting end-to-end AI solutions from concept to production, evaluating business problems to determine the best approach using LLMs or classical ML, and developing scalable retrieval and context pipelines for high-quality grounding in AI agents. You will also collaborate cross-functionally to deliver meaningful outcomes, mentor other engineers, and ensure systems are secure, cost-efficient, and robust at enterprise scale. The role requires expertise in Python, hands-on experience with large language models, and proficiency in building RAG pipelines, agent frameworks, and conversational interfaces. Ideal candidates possess a deep understanding of the GenAI landscape and can drive significant technology initiatives while influencing best practices across the organization.
Design and build AI agents that integrate with Intuit's internal systems.
Own the end-to-end development of AI systems from concept to production.
Evaluate business problems to determine the best AI solution approach.
Develop scalable retrieval and context pipelines for AI agent grounding.
Create proofs-of-concept to explore new AI capabilities and frameworks.
Ensure AI systems are secure, cost-efficient, and robust at enterprise scale.
Mentor other engineers and influence best practices in AI agent development.
What we're looking for
8+ years of experience in software engineering or machine learning engineering.
Strong proficiency in Python and hands-on experience with large language models (LLMs).
Experience designing and deploying AI systems, including RAG pipelines and agent frameworks.
Ability to evaluate LLMs against traditional ML algorithms for cost, latency, and accuracy tradeoffs.
Expertise in building conversational interfaces and maintaining model context protocols.
Proven track record of working independently under aggressive timelines and managing ambiguity.
