Sr Telephony Infrastructure Engineer

What you'll do

• Manage large-scale telephony infrastructure projects including equipment upgrades and new location setups.
• Oversee Avaya hardware configuration and carrier network services for smooth operations across 70+ locations.
• Troubleshoot complex PBX, adjunct alarms, hardware, network, and wiring issues for Level 3 support.
• Interface with cloud providers to manage service integrations and ensure seamless communication between on-premise systems and the cloud.
• Lead PCI and ITIL compliance initiatives by updating infrastructure and maintaining documentation to meet Disney’s security standards.
• Collaborate with network teams to configure ACLs, firewalls, load balancers, and routing for optimized telephony performance.

What we're looking for

• Extensive experience with data networking technologies including firewalls, routers, switches, and load balancers.
• Advanced understanding of telecom (voice) and data networking in multi-location contact centers.
• Demonstrated expertise with Avaya systems such as Media Gateways, CMS, ASA, AES, System Manager, and Session Manager.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working with VoIP systems in a contact center environment.
• Ability to manage large-scale projects involving equipment upgrades and new location setups.
• Lead vendor relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams for project success.
• Utilize network monitoring tools and demonstrate expertise in routing, ACLs, and firewall configurations.
