Your responsibilities include defining company-wide standards for service delivery, driving financial tracking and cost optimization, and implementing low-code/no-code automation initiatives. You will act as an expert advisor to senior leadership, influencing technology strategy and operating models while ensuring alignment with evolving business needs and industry trends. Key skills required are a Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field, 8+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, ServiceNow certification, ITIL v4 certification, and expertise in IT governance frameworks like ITIL v4 and COBIT. You will operate within a regulated environment, managing software licensing and vendor relationships while maintaining strong financial acumen to partner with Finance on budget management.
Govern core ITIL practices for continuous evolution.
Monitor licenses and contracts for timely renewal or retirement.
Influence IT investment strategy and cost optimization with Finance.
Drive application rationalization efforts to achieve cost savings.
Lead automation strategy by implementing low/no code solutions.
Serve as a trusted advisor on technology strategy and operating models.
Define and institutionalize best practices for ITSM and automation.
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business or related field with 8+ years experience in pharmaceutical industry
ServiceNow certification (Administrator or ITSM Implementation Specialist preferred)
ITIL v4 Foundation required; Intermediate preferred
Proven ownership of core ITIL practices including Change, Incident, Problem, and Asset Management
Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and tracking spend
Experience leading application rationalization and technology portfolio optimization efforts
Hands-on experience driving automation initiatives across IT operations
