What you'll do
Develop and iterate on optimization and machine learning algorithms for supply chain decisions.
Design and deploy scalable algorithms in production environments, running daily for millions of combinations.
Collaborate with business partners to understand retail processes and integrate data science solutions.
Resolve tradeoffs between model granularity and performance, reliability, and usability of codebase.
Write high-performant, maintainable, and understandable code for predictive and prescriptive models.
What we're looking for
Strong knowledge of supply chain optimization including inventory, transportation, sourcing, distribution, fulfillment, and planning.
Proficient in predictive and prescriptive algorithms with experience deploying them at scale in production environments.
Expertise in formulating and implementing mathematical models such as mixed-integer programming, stochastic dynamic programming, and reinforcement learning.
Demonstrated ability to write highly performant code using languages like Python, R, Kotlin, or Java.
Strong technical and communication skills for delivering solutions with business impact and evangelizing them across teams.
PhD or MS in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or related quantitative fields.
