Ideal candidates have 5+ years of production software development experience, fluency in Python and a typed language like TypeScript or Java, and expertise in databases and full-stack JavaScript frameworks. Familiarity with AI agents, big data environments, and financial services is desired.

What you'll do

Partner with AI Engineering lead to ship features and ramp into independent contributions on Elixir platform.
Contribute to Elixir’s core platform, including skill execution runtime, tool registry, retrieval primitives, and observability.
Extend skills surface by creating, editing, versioning, testing, benchmarking, and securing AI assistance.
Build event-driven background agents for native integration of support-ticket pre-triage and webhook flows into Elixir.
Make Elixir secure for production use, focusing on PII handling, access control, audit logging, and multi-tenant isolation.

What we're looking for

5+ years of experience shipping production software with real users.
Fluent in Python and at least one typed language like TypeScript or Java.
Strong background in database management, including SQL and NoSQL environments.
Experience building full-stack applications using modern JavaScript frameworks.
Basic proficiency in Linux, sandboxed execution, micro-VMs, and containerization.
Trainable and coachable with a preference for intense mentorship environments.
