As a Solar Performance Engineer at Invenergy, you will join the utility-scale solar operations team to enhance the performance and reliability of third-party owned PV facilities. Your daily responsibilities include providing technical support for day-to-day operations, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, analyzing SCADA data to optimize energy production, and developing best practices in conjunction with equipment manufacturers. You will also create operational procedures, evaluate engineering drawings, participate in site calls, lead pilot projects, onboard new solar sites, and work closely with the performance analytics team to implement predictive monitoring strategies. Essential qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, 1-4 years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in data analysis tools like Microsoft Office and PowerBI. Experience with PV systems, CMMS software, and electrical safety practices is preferred.

What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
1-4+ years of engineering, systems integration, or technical support experience.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
Proficient data analysis and visualization skills using tools like Microsoft Office.
Excellent oral and written communication for cross-functional collaboration.
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record for moderate field work.
