What you'll do

Lead the design and development of software features for Cisco’s Silicon One NPU.

Guide a team of engineers in resolving design and implementation issues.
Define next-generation ASIC products by collaborating with architecture and hardware teams.
Gain deep knowledge of Silicon One hardware architecture and programming models.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 8+ years of engineering experience or Master's degree with 6+ years.
Proficient in C/C++ for at least 8 years.
Extensive experience (5+) designing and implementing Layer-2/Multicast protocols and forwarding mechanisms.
Strong analytical reasoning skills and practical debugging experience using tools like GDB, PDB.
Experience developing software for high-performance, scalable networking products.
Knowledge of cloud, data center, or edge networking products preferred.
