What you'll do

  • Maintain, debug, and optimize the legacy React Planner engine to ensure high availability and security.
  • Design and build new reasoning features for the next-generation Agentforce reasoner.
  • Develop scalable services that can be integrated with multiple applications and support thousands of tenants in production.
  • Drive system efficiencies through automation, including capacity planning and performance tuning.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to resolve critical production issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate generative AI services into products.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of industry experience in software engineering as a core backend product developer.
  • Strong programming skills in Java and Python, with expertise in object-oriented design and ML pipelines.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related STEM field.
  • Excellent debugging and triage skills for legacy codebases and complex bugs.
  • Experience with distributed, scalable systems and modern data storage frameworks like Kafka, Docker, Spark.
  • Basic understanding of deep learning, machine learning algorithms, LLMs, and prompt engineering.
