In this role, you will collaborate with hardware and systems engineers to design, develop, troubleshoot, and test AAS Mission Systems and Training Systems software. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating algorithms, interfaces, and designs, as well as documenting and maintaining architectures and requirements. The team uses Java, C/C++, Linux, and OpenGL in an Agile/DevOps environment, focusing on real-time algorithm implementation and simulation training for fleet operators. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science and 1+ years of software development experience, with strong skills in Java and additional experience in C/C++ and Linux operating systems.
