The role requires extensive experience in scalable back-end technologies like Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and non-relational databases such as MongoDB, along with proficiency in front-end frameworks like ReactJS and UI/UX development. You will also contribute to the creation of product roadmaps and documentation standards while managing team priorities and driving continuous improvement within the development process.

What you'll do

  • Translates stakeholder requests into detailed engineering artifacts including design specifications and test scripts.
  • Ensures software development adheres to Enterprise Architecture principles and best practices.
  • Completes coding, code review, and testing as part of Agile teams, keeping the team informed on project status.
  • Manages risks by tracking issues and developing mitigation strategies for software projects.
  • Supports business units in resolving complex user questions following production support processes.
  • Provides input for product roadmaps and high-level estimates during development phases.
  • Collaborates with IT management to define documentation standards and engineering artifact templates.

What we're looking for

  • Advanced knowledge and extensive experience in software engineering best practices.
  • Proficient in Java, .Net C#, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and front-end frameworks like ReactJS.
  • Experience with scalable back-end technologies including Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and non-relational databases.
  • Strong understanding of server-side software scalability, performance, reliability, and networking principles.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for effective team management and customer service.
  • Knowledge of agile development methodologies and continuous integration/deployment tools like Jenkins and Octopus Deploy.
