As a Software Development Engineer on Amazon LEO’s SDN controller team, you will design and implement the control plane for a high-throughput telecom service using Low Earth Orbit satellites, customer terminals, gateways, cloud services, and terrestrial network infrastructure. Your daily tasks include developing a scalable network architecture, implementing RF beam and optical link planning, and creating highly-available software to drive networking control plane operations on both physical and virtual nodes. You will also define and automate processes for software development and maintenance while ensuring operational excellence through the use of enabling tools and refined processes.
