What you'll do

Lead software design and development for major components of Oracle’s Cloud Infrastructure.
Dive deep into any part of the stack, from low-level systems to high-level interactions.
Design broad distributed system interactions and microservices architectures.
Proficient in Java, C++, Python, and other relevant programming languages.
Drive the development of new projects and features to completion independently.

What we're looking for

7+ years of software engineering experience in a technical leadership role.
Proficiency in at least one object-oriented language: Java, C++, or similar.
Experience building software solutions using multiple programming languages and scripts.
Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and containerization technologies.
Knowledge of Internet protocols and standards such as SMTP, REST, SSL, and HTTP.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in an engineering environment.
