As a Senior Technical Program Manager in Anduril’s Edge Compute and Communications business line, you will lead the interoperability and integration of software and hardware across the Menace product line while also contributing to new product development. Your day-to-day responsibilities include driving engineering execution, managing cross-functional teams, creating clear roadmaps, and engaging with external stakeholders to deploy prototypes in the field. You must have a strong technical background in systems engineering, software development, networking, and hardware engineering, along with experience in Agile methodology and shepherding complex projects from concept to production. The role requires proficiency in PM tools like JIRA and Confluence, as well as an understanding of the defense sector and military systems. Additionally, you will need a U.S. Secret clearance and ideally 5+ years of relevant experience in technical program management or engineering roles within commercial technology or aerospace and defense industries.
Drive engineering execution and alignment across multiple teams for product development.
Manage 6-12 month roadmaps, creating clear milestones with cross-functional inputs.
Engage in system architecture and positively influence engineering decisions of products.
Deploy and support prototypes in the field at customer events to solve operational issues.
Identify industry technologies applicable to defense problems and integrate them into projects.
What we're looking for
Minimum 5 years experience in Technical Program Management, Product Management, Engineering Management, or as an Engineer for a tech or aerospace/defense company.
Strong technical background with systems engineering, software development, networking, and hardware engineering expertise.
Experience managing complex technical projects from concept to full-rate production.
Proficiency in Agile methodology and project management tools like JIRA and Confluence.
Active U.S. Secret clearance required; Top Secret preferred.
Willingness to travel up to 30% for customer events and field support.
