Boeing Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) Enterprise Business Systems (EBS) is currently seeking a Senior Supply Chain Systems Architect to join the Direct Procurement and Supplier Lifecycle & Relationship Management solution teams in Seattle, WA; Berkeley, MO; Everett, WA; Kent, WA; Mesa, AZ; North Charleston, SC; or Plano, TX.

Position Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and documentation of comprehensive system architectures encompassing hardware, software, and networks
- Create and maintain architectural models and diagrams to communicate system designs
- Collaborate closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and validate system requirements
- Translate business needs into clear technical specifications and architectural solutions
- Research and assess emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks
- Provide informed recommendations for adoption and integration strategies
- Design and implement integration strategies ensuring seamless connectivity and data flow
- Define and standardize Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), protocols, and communication methods for interoperability
- Analyze system performance to identify bottlenecks and enhance efficiency, scalability, and reliability
- Embed security best practices into system designs
- Collaborate with security teams to identify vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date documentation architectures, design decisions, and technical specifications
- Produce user guides, operational manuals, and roadmaps for current and future states
- Engage with development teams, project managers, and stakeholders to align on architecture
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle
- Monitor progress to ensure compliance with architectural standards and best practices
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices
- Lead initiatives to improve processes, tools, and methodologies in system design and development
- Identify challenges and make timely, well-informed decisions independently
- Foster cooperative relationships across teams
- Adapt flexibly to changing environments, priorities, and organizational needs
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of experience with Supply Chain Management and Procurement work and/or general Business Operations
- 5+ years of experience with any of the following: Project/Program Management, Procurement, Supplier Program Management, Engineering, Production Engineering, and/or Supplier Quality
- 5+ years of experience with software development, systems architecture, programming
- 5+ years of experience with integration technologies such as Application Programming Interface (API), File Transfer Protocol (FTP), and Cloud Integration Services
- 3+ years of experience in the aerospace and/or defense industry
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 10+ years of experience in a role which required strong interpersonal and communication skills
- 10+ years of experience leading successful Lean and process improvement initiatives across an Information Technology (IT) organization
- 10+ years of experience with IT4IT, Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Agile, DevOps, and/or other relevant frameworks
- 10+ years of experience leading large-scale IT transformation projects
- 5+ years of experience automating and optimizing Supply Chain processes
- 5+ years of experience of supply chain management and how technology supports end-to-end business processes (e.g., order fulfillment, procurement, logistics, etc.)
