What you'll do

  • Build a query engine supporting efficient relationship traversals for high-demand workloads.
  • Contribute to design and lead high-priority projects enhancing platform value, resilience, and scalability.
  • Guide engineers through architectural decisions impacting the REDAPL platform.
  • Identify system risks and trends, designing solutions to improve reliability.
  • Provide input on prioritizing engineering initiatives in short-term and long-term roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with internal product teams to integrate and support their growth using REDAPL.

What we're looking for

  • Extensive experience with multiple types of data stores.
  • Led technical initiatives focusing on performance, cost efficiency, ease of use, and resilience.
  • Significant back-end engineering experience in building and operating distributed systems at scale.
  • Contributed to design and implementation of high-priority projects enhancing platform value and scalability.
  • BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience working with Graph Databases (Neo4j, Memgraph, JanusGraph, ArangoDB, Amazon Neptune).
  • Production-grade experience with Apache Iceberg and query planning for large-scale systems.
