Mastercard’s Portfolio Intelligence team is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join their dynamic Services organization in Arlington, VA. In this role, you will design and develop high-performance analytics platforms that empower businesses worldwide to leverage data for strategic decision-making. Your day-to-day responsibilities include building scalable software architectures, creating cutting-edge algorithms, and developing robust web applications using the latest technologies. You will work closely with a team of experienced engineers in an agile environment, practicing continuous integration and delivery, and contributing to all aspects of development from front-end web design to server-side calculations and database optimization. The ideal candidate has full-stack development expertise, proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, React, and PostgreSQL, and experience with Snowflake and GitHub CoPilot. This role involves working on large-scale data environments and requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to mentor team members while delivering complex projects in a collaborative setting.

What we're looking for
5+ years of hands-on full-stack development experience building scalable applications.
Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, React, and PostgreSQL; familiarity with Snowflake and GitHub Copilot preferred.
Strong proficiency in software design patterns, system architecture, data structures, and algorithms.
Proven ability to lead technical planning, mentor team members, and deliver complex projects.
Experience designing maintainable, resilient, high-performance systems for large-scale data environments.
Excellent communication skills for conveying technical concepts to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
