As a Senior Software Engineer at Electronic Arts, you will join the Platform Engineering team to design and develop automation services in Python or Golang. What you'll do

Design, develop, and maintain scalable APIs in Python or Go for managing platform operations.
Automate infrastructure lifecycle workflows using Kubernetes with OpenShift experience preferred.
Implement GitOps-based deployments to ensure declarative, reliable automation of systems.
Ensure reliability, performance, and observability of automation workflows through metrics and logging.
Troubleshoot technical issues across CI/CD pipelines and mentor junior engineers on software design patterns.

What we're looking for

5+ years of experience designing, building, and maintaining production software systems in Python and/or Go.
Proven expertise in designing and implementing RESTful or gRPC APIs.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including GitOps workflows using ArgoCD or similar tools.
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and Linux-based systems.
Experience collaborating in Agile/DevOps environments and working closely with infrastructure and security teams.
Solid knowledge of version control (Git), automated testing, and code quality best practices.
Understanding of distributed systems concepts and failure modes.
