What you'll do

Develop performance and power models for SoC components like NoCs, memory controllers, and IO blocks.
Verify model accuracy through unit-tests and debugging against RTL behavior.
Identify and prototype ideas to enhance SoC performance and power efficiency.
Collaborate with architects and RTL developers to implement performance improvements in designs.
Conduct RTL performance verification by creating detailed plans and directed tests.

What we're looking for

MS in Computer Science/Engineering with 3+ years of SoC performance/power modeling experience.
Strong understanding of interconnects, traffic QoS, distributed caches, coherency flows, DRAM controllers, and IO protocols.
Proficiency in C++ and scripting languages like Perl or Python.
Ability to independently identify, troubleshoot, and solve complex performance issues.
Experience in building fast, accurate SoC/CPU performance models using C++.
Expertise in coherent fabrics (AMBA CHI/AXI), memory controllers (LPDDR5, DDR5), and IO controllers (PCIe/CXL/CCIX).
Demonstrated success in productizing features that enhance performance/power characteristics of designs.
