As a Senior Product Manager for Trade Processing at Apex, you will lead the strategic vision and execution of CAT reporting products, ensuring compliance and efficiency in handling billions of order-related events daily. Your role involves defining product roadmaps, collaborating with cross-functional teams to manage OKRs, and leveraging data analytics to optimize performance metrics such as error rates and turnaround times. You must have expertise in regulatory reporting systems, fintech, and agile development methodologies, along with proficiency in SQL, BI tools, and cloud infrastructure like AWS or GCP. This role demands a deep understanding of event-driven architectures and streaming technologies, as well as the ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes and emerging tech trends to enhance Apex’s competitive edge in market structure compliance.
Define and execute the strategy for Apex’s CAT reporting products to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Track OKRs in partnership with Compliance, Legal, Engineering, Operations, and client stakeholders.
Lead requirements elicitation and refinement to deliver critical functionality such as intra-day validations and error-repair workflows.
Manage backlogs and monitor sprint progress to adapt rapidly to regulatory updates.
Use data insights to reduce error-correction rates and minimize compliance costs for CAT reporting.
What we're looking for
5+ years of product management experience in fintech, capital markets infrastructure, reg-tech, or cloud/SaaS data platforms.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience; MBA preferred.
Proven ability to align cross-functional teams and drive initiatives without formal authority.
Full lifecycle ownership of Agile/Scrum product development for high-availability SaaS products.
Technical fluency with streaming frameworks (Kafka/Kinesis), RESTful APIs, data modeling, and cloud infrastructure.
Advanced proficiency in SQL and BI tools; experience with terabyte-scale datasets required.
Deep understanding of event-driven architectures, streaming technologies, and API design.
